This worksheet is great for extra practice when teaching the French verbs SAVOIR and CONNAÎTRE. This is a one page worksheet with fifteen fill in the blank sentences. Fill in the blanks with either the present tense or the infinitive form of the correct verb.
The environment - 20 questions game - Earth Day - No prep speaking activity
The game of 20 questions is a fun and effective way to practice forming questions. In this version of the game students will practice asking questions about 30 different words related to the environment and pollution. This is a one page, no prep printable. This speaking and listening activity will work well with your chapter on the environment or for Earth Day.
Have students work in small groups of 2-4 or project the game and do a whole class activity.
Many of the words will likely be new to your students as this game is meant not only to practice asking questions, but also to build and reinforce vocabulary. I like to allow my students to look at the game chart while they play until they’re somewhat familiar with the words written on the chart.
One student in the small group or class chooses a word on the chart. Other students ask up to 20 questions trying to guess the secret word.

La Nourriture - French 20 questions game - No prep speaking activity
The game of 20 questions is a fun and effective way to practice forming French questions and in this version of the game, students can practice using partitive articles with 52 nouns which are all food and drinks. The food and drink vocabulary used in this game is the same that I’ve included in my set of 75 cards to practice French partitive, definite, and indefinite articles. These two resources are great to use together.

Have your students unscramble words to make grammatically sound sentences in French. This exercise / worksheet includes ten sentences to unscramble and focuses on using the verb FAIRE in the present tense. Some of the sentences include negation. The sentences are 10 to 14 words in length and are a good challenge for beginners. This exercise is also great to use as a review. Find someone who... This ESL group speaking activity is great for getting students to speak and practice their vocabulary when learning about RESTAURANTS. Your students will enjoy getting up and moving around the classroom as they ask their classmates questions that are listed on the worksheet which includes sixteen questions. This activity can also be used in any English speaking classroom as an ice-breaker or getting to know you activity.

One worksheet to print out and make one copy for each student in your class. There are sixteen squares on the grid. Each square contains one question and a space to write a classmate’s name.
Instructions:
Have your students move around the room asking classmates the questions that are written in the squares on the grid that you provide. If a classmate responds with YES he or she writes his name on the line provided. Complete sentences are encouraged even when the answer is NO. Activity continues until all boxes are filled.
